This book was about a well know business man name Ron that got what he wanted and will use his money to get it. He was married to a woman name Vanessa. She was tired of her husband sneaky was, and just wanted her marriage to be like it use to. Ron was staying out all night, not really spending time with Vanessa. Until one day Vanessa met this man name Pete that was giving her everything her husband wasn't. Until it leads them both in a direction of what will happen when you mix love, deceit and lust all together karma is something else but it came back to bite Ron in the butt.This was a good book I read this book in one day. I couldn't put it down it was filled with drama, deceit, and has many twist in it. If you haven't read this book 1-click you will love it. This is my first time reading Manswell Work and I'm waiting for part 2. Job well done

Please don't sleep on this book! I finished it in about 2 hours. I loved the story and plot and of course there will be a sequel. I love the characters and I was was sad when it ended!

This is my very first time reading a book by this author, but I can promise you, it will NOT be my last! Manswell Peterson has a definite 5* read on his hands. I'll be honest, the only reason it took me two days to read it, was because I had company over. This book was a very thought provoking, yet easy read. Grab this book, I promise you won't be let down. I'm hoping there will be a part two, because I'd love to see what happens next!
Vanessa, Ron and Pete get caught up in a dangerous game. This book was the first I have read from this author and it was a page turner. Vanessa is bored in her marriage, her husband Ron has lost his flame. Seeking to rekindle the youthful love, she turns to Pete. Pete has grown tired of dating after his divorce until he meets Vanessa. The lies and deceit in this book will have you on the edge of your seat. You can't be too careful with friends either when sneaking and creeping. I am anxious to see if there will be a second installment. A definite five star read. One Last Cry Revisited
I gave this book 4 stars because I would have liked to have had something that would distinguish that the scenes were changing from 1 character to the next within some of the chapters. This book is very fast paced...I felt a little rushed but the storyline was great. I'm gonna avoid giving my opinion about the characters so that I won't spoil it for others. However I will say, it is important to be upfront with people when it comes to relationships.....be honest and let whomever you're with make their own decisions as to what they want to do. I'm ready for the next part!!!
Also I don't know if this happened with anyone else's ebook copy of the book but as I was reading the alignment of the words on mines was shifted to the left of my screen....almost as if I was reading a poem.....I didn't like that so whoever is able to fix that, please do.
This is my first time reading something by this author but it will not be my last. Vanessa is a married woman who is tired of her husband adulterous ways and treating her like garbage so she decides what is good for the goose is good for the gander. Ron is her husband who has enough money and power in the county to shut down anyone who crosses him. When Vanessa brings her lover, Pete into the picture and finds out her best friend, Monica is sleeping with her husband, things go terribly wrong. I don't want to spoil it so I suggest you one click this book today. You will not be dissappointed. I hope Mr. Peterson has part 2 waiting in the wings because I can not wait to see the conclusion of this story. It seems like it isn't over until Ron says it is over.
What happens when a rich man gives his wife everything she could possible want, except love? What happens when the wife finds a younger man that fills the void left by her husband? What happens when the husband get a taste of his own medicine by his wife? You get DRAMA and a whole lot of it. I had never read anything by Manswell Petersen and must admit that when I first read it, I was wondering what was all the fuss about. After getting into 30% of the book, my curiosity was answered. This story would make anyone long to be loved. I truly enjoyed the secret meetings between the two characters, that's just how real the scenes were. It was told in such a romantic way but all good things come to an end. This one came to an explosive end and the twist that came about are things that happen in every day relationships. The book was well written but left some unanswered questions which could very well lead to a sequel. Yes, I can see this one as a Prime Time movie with a box of kleenex beside me. I gave this book a 4**** because of a few grammatical errors but I'm wondering why there's not many reviews. Ladies this one that you would love but the love triangle is another story. A well written story by this Author that really caught my by surprise at the end.
